さむい！

After the hottest (recorded) summer in 2010 - came the coldest ever winter in Japan. The picture doesn't depict the mood really. Basically, you had to be here. The snow was over a foot high and the freezing temperature dropped so low (-8 or -9). We had to combat the coldness around the house. And poor Lj fell ill twice already due to it.

The neigbourhood

さくらのき　sakura trees are everywhere in our neighbourhood. Enjoy!

Bedroom 1 – update

I started painting the walls Lemon White but due to its texture, I had to reconsider using another medium. The walls are so absorbent. It used up a lot of paint on just one wall. So plastering is a likely possible alternative like what I did in Bedroom 3.

Let there be music..

We finally got ママ‘ｓ piano. Now we can listen to Chopin live. Oh, yes!

Garden - update

We tasted our first homegrown strawberries today. おいしかった。
