Bedroom 1 – update

I started painting the walls Lemon White but due to its texture, I had to reconsider using another medium. The walls are so absorbent. It used up a lot of paint on just one wall. So plastering is a likely possible alternative like what I did in Bedroom 3.

Let there be music..

We finally got ママ‘ｓ piano. Now we can listen to Chopin live. Oh, yes!

Garden - update

We tasted our first homegrown strawberries today. おいしかった。

Passage and Staircase – update

I used the leftovers (of plaster) and painted the doors Off White - it's looking good. It looks a lot brighter too.

Front Porch - update

This is definitely a challenge for us as we have very little experience in gardening. がんばります。 But I must admit, s’s has some wonderful ideas.

In celebration of GW and Children’s Day on 5/5, we hanged our carp streamers (こいのぼり) as a sign of good luck. がんばってね。

Bedroom 3 - update

LoLA, this room is now waiting for you. We've touched up the wooden bits with walnut varnish and the walls were given a coat. Actually, we plastered it lightly. It looks traditional yet modern. Next is the fusuma (cupboard sliding doors). Wish me luck.
